INTRODUCTION

Hello! After some deliberation I've decided it is time to hold my first contest. It's going to be based on my story and original characters. The theme is spring. You are free to interpret this time in any way you choose.
My story is set in a contemporary Dublin, but in an alternative timeline where magic is possible. Visually, this means the world has been influenced by different historical periods as the supernatural world seems somewhat more archaic than its technological counterpart. So what does the theme mean?
The theme for this book is 'Our Earth'. Whatever you see on our Earth is allowed.

Green could be images of forests, summer, spring, jungles, plains etc.

Blue could be winter, oceans, skies, night, water, etc.

Red/pink could be sunsets, flower fields, volcanic environments, fire

Yellow/orange could be autumn, deserts, beaches

♦ Any style is accepted; interpretation of the theme doesn't have to be literal and doesn't need to depict only 'nature'.
♦ Anything that exists on our Earth is allowed; this includes buildings, cityscapes, vehicles, marketplace, interior etc.
♦ Please keep it as positive as this book is mainly to support the cancer victims and their families. Through this book we would like to show some hope and support.

Even though I am highly grateful for your invitation, I have to decline on joining the contest. After checking back and forth on my schedule, I guess I just couldn't make it

Besides, background was never my strong suit, I suck at drawing backgrounds. And with the high demands from the judges, I think I won't be able to please them ORZ.
However, I am interested in the idea of this charity artbook so I guess I'll still stay tuned to see what people got to bring out
